Kibana is vulnerable due to a missing authorization control in its APM integration function, which allows any authenticated user to access sensitive APM server credentials intended for privileged users only. This could lead to unauthorized information disclosure and potential privilege abuse. Organizations using Kibana, particularly those with APM or Fleet functionalities, should prioritize addressing this vulnerability to safeguard their sensitive data.
