CyberRota Analysis

AI-Generated

Bouncy Castle for Java versions prior to 1.85, as well as specific LTS and FIPS versions, are vulnerable due to a flaw where CMS AuthenticatedData content is not properly bound to the MAC when authAttrs are present. This could lead to potential integrity issues, allowing attackers to manipulate data without detection. Organizations using these versions for cryptographic operations should prioritize patching to mitigate risks associated with data authenticity and integrity.
